This Biennial took place from 5 October till 11 November 2017 in different venues in Montevideo. The World textile Art (WTA) organizers, guided by Pilar Tobon, did a great job. Over 250 participating artists, curators and writers from all continents were present at the many openings and invitations in the city of Montevideo. I will publish here the most important exhibitions showing some of the prize winning works beginning with the Textile Art in Large Format exhibition at the exhibition center SUBTE in Montevideo , where I was in the jury together with Silke (Argentina) and Lin Lecheng (China).
